A walk that combines heritage and panoramic views, to discover Allemond in a different way, with its typical narrow streets, wooded paths and breathtaking views of the Grandes Rousses.
From the Tourist Office, cross the avenue du parc des Tilleuls, then continue on the main road for 250 m to the former Hôtel Giniès. Turn right onto the Chemin des Econgères, then, after 50 m, take the path that climbs up to join the Route du Village.
Go right for 100 m, then turn left to rejoin the Chemin des Econgères. Follow the yellow signs to Allemond Église. There's a fine view of the Grandes Rousses massif before a series of steps lead back to the route du Village.
Turn left, then right onto the Chemin de la Croix d'Arnol, which leads you to the church. Take the time to walk around it, and enjoy the exceptional panorama of the valley from the benches at the back.
Follow the yellow signs through the village towards the town hall (approx. 450 m). Along the way, you'll come across an old house with a goods elevator, a wash-house and a bread oven above a sundial.
When you reach the town hall, turn right and walk down the Chemin des Faures, then the Chemin de la Croze (staircase), to the road. Cross the road to continue on Chemin du Moulin and Chemin du Martinet, always following the "Allemond La Fonderie" signs.
