Description

For the more sporty, there's a magnificent hike lasting several hours, combining mountain lakes and the old Herpie coal mines, which were mined until 1951.
Swimming prohibited

  • High boots are preferable to sneakers on mountain paths.

  • Bring rain gear (weather changes quickly in the mountains), sunglasses, a hat or cap, sun cream, a bottle of water (or bottle), and a snack.

  • Don't go too high in the mountains with a baby under the age of 1 (risk of ear infections).

  • Stay well hydrated (especially children)

  • Choose age-appropriate walks (duration, altitude difference)

  • Take regular breaks

  • Protected plants, wildlife and minerals are all part of the landscape. Please respect them.

  • Take all your garbage with you. Recycling bins are available in the resort.

  • We recommend that you keep your dogs on a leash.

  • During your hikes, you may come across cow pens. Please remember to close them after you have passed.

  • You may come across herds of grazing sheep. Protection dogs are there to protect them. They are not trained to be aggressive, but they are trained to be deterrents.
