From Hières to the hamlet of Valfroide

Ideal for families with young children, this walk takes you on a pastoral trail through ancient alpine hamlets in the heart of the countryside.

This gentle family hike starts from the parking lot at the entrance to the hamlet of Les Hières. Once parked, cross the main road through the village for 300m.

Then follow the pastoral track for 2 km, surrounded by flower-filled fields, typical alpine hamlet houses and fountains, and the Maurian torrent, which rises much further up towards the Goléon.

The return journey takes the same route as the outward journey.
