Langaret lake - snowshoeing from Villard-Reculas image1

Description

As a Trail Station, Villard Reculas has two white trail runs that are perfect for discovering the thrill of running at altitude. Panorama views over the Ecrins in a mountain snow atmosphere!

From the Tourist Office, take the Route des Alpages up into the village.
When you reach the parking lot at the intersection with the Chemin de la Bergerie, take the Chemin de la Bergerie as far as the pisteurs' hut.
Just before the hut, turn right onto the groomed path marked with purple markers, which leads you on a loop around Lac du Langaret.
This route takes just over an hour and offers a peaceful stroll in a pretty setting overlooking the surrounding massifs.
The return loop follows the same itinerary as the outward journey.

TO SEE ALONG THE WAY :

  • The view of the Belledonne and Taillefer massifs directly opposite.
  • The snow-covered mountain pastures of Villard-Reculas
  • The small Langaret lake, frozen (or not, depending on the temperature and the time of year!)
