ITINERARY
In Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans, the trail starts at the cemetery, crossing the hamlet of Les Roures.
Continue to the old Saint Christophe mill, cross the footbridge suspended over the Torrent du Diable. A few switchbacks lead up to the Vierge du Collet overlooking the valley. The path then climbs quietly in the pleasant shade to the hamlet of Le Puy. Don't miss the pretty oratory, then take the climb on your right to the Miroir des Fétoules, a small body of water reflecting the Fétoules.
Continue up to the fork for the Tête de la Toura. On the trail, stop at the orientation table.
After this stop, continue your ascent through a lunar landscape and terrain, with the breathtaking panorama as your reward. To return to your starting point, go back down to the Mirror des Fétoules/ St Christophe intersection and follow the signs for Saint Christophe.
The Tête de la Toura, one of the region's favorite hiking routes, promises panoramic views of a rich and diverse alpine landscape. The trail winds its way through varied terrain to end in a rocky area. Here, stone and green combine under blue skies to create scenes of breathtaking beauty.
